About us
For almost 20 years, the Delta Energia Group has been pioneering market trends to consolidate its position as one of the country’s largest energy companies. Delta’s growth strategy is based on continuous reinvestment, with all acquisitions made using own funds, which has sustained its development and diversified its business portfolio.
The group started its operations with the power trading company Delta Comercializadora and strengthened the commodities chain by entering into the ethanol and biodiesel market, becoming one of Brazil’s leading biofuel producers.
Envisaging a power industry that operates more integrated with financial markets, Delta has structured the Brazilian largest power trading investment fund, CSHG Delta Energia, raising R$1 billion, the offering limit, and for which Beta Energia was created.
In partnership with an international investor and with a total of R$800 million raised, it launched Delta Energia Strategy Fund, the second fund in the Brazilian financial market to invest in power trading, which operates through Zeta Energia.
Through Delta Geração, it is betting on the future of the gas industry in Brazil and entering the power generation segment.
The group currently trades 5,000 MW average per month, which corresponds to 8% of Brazil’s power consumption.
